Prestižní nakladatelství Brill vydalo v rámci své edice Brill's Companions to the Christian Tradition jedenáct statí přibližujících hlavní životní mezníky a myšlenky mistra Jana Husa, od jehož smrti na hranici v Kostnici letos uplyne 600 let. Publikace obsahuje eseje předních odborníků několika generací, kteří se pokoušejí život a dílo Jana Husa nahlížet z různých úhlů.

Kniha „A Companion to Jan Hus“ je určena odborníkům i studentům, kteří se chtějí seznámit s osobností a myšlením českého reformátora, jenž je v zahraničí známý především jako stoupenec Johna Wyclifa a předchůdce Martina Luthera. Vydání publikace můžeme vnímat jako příspěvek nejen k letošnímu Husovu výročí, ale i k blížícímu se výročí Martina Luthera (2017).
